Overview
Sendang Gile Waterfall is a waterfall located in Senaru Village, Bayan District, North Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. More specifically, it is situated in the Senaru area, about 2 kilometers from Bayan Village. This tourist attraction lies within the Mount Rinjani National Park area, as the waterfall serves as one of the gateways to the hiking trail leading up to Mount Rinjani. The water at Sendang Gile originates from a natural spring on Mount Rinjani, making it very cool and pristine.
To reach the site, visitors must descend approximately two hundred steps that cover a height of about 40 meters, and cross a perforated bridge spanning a valley, which takes about 15 minutes of exploration. An alternative route involves trekking along the edge of a somewhat steep valley, following an irrigation channel, and crossing a bridge made of rattan.
